Sudoku Hot was born from a simple idea: gaming shouldn't be stressful. We built a space for your mind, using classic logic puzzles to cultivate moments of calm and clarity.

What is Sudoku Hot?

Sudoku Hot is a free, browser-based sudoku experience built for clarity—not competition. No accounts required to start, no paywalls on difficulty, and no streak pressure unless you opt into the Daily Challenge. Whether you have five minutes or an hour, you can open a puzzle, breathe, and think.

We combine a classic 9×9 grid, optional Killer cages for veterans, six difficulty presets, and a Daily Challenge calendar so you can play the way that fits your day. Everything runs in your browser with light and dark themes tuned for long sessions.

How we think about play

Built for Focus

We believe focus is a practice, not a given. Most apps use aggressive notifications and stressful timers to keep you engaged. We rejected that model. Instead, we designed an experience that feels like a deep breath—smooth transitions, readable typography, and controls that stay out of your way so you can work the puzzle at your own pace.

Calm Design

Every pixel is chosen to reduce sensory overload. Forest-green and ocean-blue accents in light mode; charcoal and mint in dark mode. Glass-like cards and soft shadows help the board stay the center of attention—not banners, not loot boxes.

Steady Progress

Pick any difficulty anytime—no unlock grind. Track completions and streaks when it motivates you; ignore them when you just want a quiet puzzle. Stats and daily milestones celebrate consistency without punishing a missed day.

One featured puzzle per day with a calendar, streak badge, and gentle milestones—not a punitive login streak.

Killer Sudoku

Cage sums add a second layer of logic on top of classic rules. Ideal when standard grids feel too familiar.

Light & dark themes

Switch appearance in Settings. Both themes follow the same Stitch-inspired palette for low eye strain.
